TV shows aim to relieve viewers' anxiety

New programs are being shown on local TV to relieve stress and solitude and to help prevent psychological problems. 

Dragon TV’s “China Now,” which airs every Monday night, invites Professor Zhang Weiwei, an expert in international relations, to share his expertise and views on China’s efforts in the battle against the novel coronavirus. He also talks about the economic and social influence of the virus.

City TV Channel shows psychologists in face-to-face talks with local residents aimed at relieving their anxiety in the face of the epidemic. Lectures on preventative and emergency medicine will also be broadcast.

Docu TV is showing “The Warmth of City,” a documentary series about the city’s endeavors in fighting coronavirus.
