1 new infection reported in Shanghai, total hits 333

One more novel coronavirus case has been confirmed in the city, with another 60 suspected cases ruled out, the Shanghai Health Commission said on Tuesday morning.

The newly diagnosed patient is from Zhejiang Province.

So far, Shanghai has reported a total of 333 infections and ruled out 1,832 suspected cases.

Among the confirmed patients, aged between 7 months and 88 years old, 110 are from outside the city — 77 from Wuhan, 23 from other cities in Hubei Province, three from Jiangsu Province, two from Anhui Province, and one each from Heilongjiang, Hunan, Shaanxi, Gansu and Zhejiang provinces.

The commission said 153 patients are stable, four are in serious condition and 14 are critical. A total of 161 patients have recovered and been discharged from hospital. 

There has been one local fatality. Another 97 suspected cases are undergoing tests.
