Some scenic spots in Songjiang District will offer free entrance to all medical staff throughout 2020, while a cinema in Songjiang is giving an “Angel’s Card” to each of the Songjiang medical team members aiding Wuhan, allowing access to 100 films at any time.

In response to the sudden outbreak of the novel coronavirus pneumonia in the central Chinese city of Wuhan and its spread, medical staff nationwide are treating patients and curbing the virus on the frontline day and night. To show gratitude for their hard work, scenic spots in Songjiang District, including Shanghai Happy Valley, Chenshan Botanical Garden, Sheshan National Forest Park, Fangta Park, Shanghai Sculpture Park, Shanghai Film Park and Zuibai Pond Park, are offering free entrance to medical staff nationwide throughout the year.

Starting from the day the scenic spots reopen to December 31, medical staff nationwide can visit these spots free of charge an unlimited number of times by showing credentials such as personal identity cards or medical licenses.

A 19-member team from Songjiang District was sent to Wuhan, capital of Hubei Province, on January 28. To thank them for their efforts, Pacific Cineplex on Songjiang’s Wencheng Road, will offer each of them an “Angel’s Card,” to give them access to 100 films at any time at any showing.

Members of the medical team can watch films at the Wencheng Road branch or Pacific Cineplex’s other branches nationwide.
