Shanghai Museum to reopen with visitor limits
Shanghai Museum announced on Thursday that it will reopen to the public from Friday.
The museum, like nearly all other museums and art institutions in the city, has been closed since the novel coronavirus outbreak.
Amid the current public health situation, the number of visitors to the museum will be limited to 2,000 per day. Visitors can make reservations within three days before a visit through the museum’s official website and WeChat.
Visitors should display their ID card, reservation code and health QR code at the entrance.
During their visit inside the museum, visitors are required to wear masks and keep 1.5 meters away from each other.
It is suggested that each visitor limit their time in the museum to about two hours.
Those with a body temperature over 37.3 degrees Celsius will be refused entry.
The museum is open from 9am to 5pm and closes on Monday.
