Shangying Internet Healthcare, an Internet-based hospital, has launched an English version of its anti-coronavirus platform, it announced on Thursday.

The platform will share China's best practices in coronavirus prevention and related medical treatment to help those in need for free.

The platform now has more than 200 medical experts from local public hospitals who can answer questions online. Access is open 24 hours per day.

On January 31, the hospital set up its consultation platform "Coronavirus Disease Workshop" where residents with fever or other symptoms could seek help and advice.

Since then it has provided online medical and consultation services to more than 24 million residents in Shanghai and received more than 150,000 visits.

“Internet medical service is user-oriented to efficiently energize and redistribute medical resources and industries. It will break the regional limitations of medical services, allocating medical resources more efficiently," said Zhao Liyu, executive vice president of the online hospital. "It is our duty to introduce China's successful experience to the world and benefit more people.”
