Pudong quarantine sites receive thousands of air passengers

From March 3 to 7am Sunday, Pudong set up 30 quarantine sites and received 8,098 people returning from key coronavirus-hit countries via the city’s two airports.

Of them, 934 are foreigners, and 815 of them are natives from the key affected countries.

On Saturday, the centers received 535 people, including 144 foreigners, from airports.

From March 12 to 21, Pudong has received 2,112 in-bound passengers who have had samples of nucleic acid tested at the airports.

From January 25 to March 21, Pudong’s quarantine sites received 16,193 people, 8,988 of whom were transported from airports. Now, 6,380 people are under quarantine.
