From today, people who return to China via Shanghai — except for those transferring to Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui provinces — must undergo 14-day quarantine for medical observation in Shanghai, the city's coronavirus disease prevention and control authorities have announced.

Arriving passengers whose final destinations are Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui will be picked up by authorities from the three provinces at the city’s airports and directly sent to their destinations, authorities said.
