Local hospital donates to Malaysian counterpart
Renji Hospital has donated 6,000 N95 and surgical masks to Tung Shin Hospital in Malaysia to help the country fight against the coronavirus pandemic.
Tung Shin Hospital expressed gratitude for Renji’s help and said the epidemic situation has become stable in Malaysia, while the protective supplies will provide better protection for front-line medical staff.
Tung Shin, a private hospital launched in 1881 in Kuala Lumpur, is a hospital integrating both traditional Chinese and Western medicines and has established cooperation with Renji on children’s liver transplantation.
Experts from Renji Hospital offered surgery for local children as well as providing training to medical staff in Malaysia.
