Dr Zhang Wenhong, head of Shanghai’s expert team for coronavirus treatment, had advice for students from Hubei Province, former epicenter of the pandemic, as 12th graders returned to school on Wednesday to prepare for the college entrance examination.

Zhang offered tips on coronavirus disease prevention and control and told students to wear masks in school, keep a distance from each other, maintain good personal hygiene and cover their mouths and noses if coughing or sneezing.

“I hope more students will choose to go to medical schools,” he said. “After the pandemic, I hope more students will become medics in the future and become my colleagues. We can work on the front line together to protect more people's health."
