Training activities set to resume on Monday

Training organizations will be allowed to resume some activities from Monday, the Shanghai Education Commission announced on Friday.

All training organizations and nurseries in the city suspended offline operations from January 23 amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The commission said organizations can resume offline training for adults, except in confined spaces, but those for adolescents can only resume outdoor activities.

All have to register with the relative administrations and pass inspections on pandemic prevention measures before reopening is approved.

Other organizations are being told to prepare for resumption as authorities will announce their opening dates according to pandemic developments.
