Radio drama highlights efforts of Shanghai medical teams in Wuhan
A radio drama based on the work of local medical teams at Wuhan’s Jinyintan Hospital produced by Radio Shanghai will air on FM93.4/AM990 at 7pm on Wednesday.
The 60-minute drama vividly records how the teams of Shanghai’s doctors and nurses were committed to treating coronavirus patients.
From the perspective of a young nurse, the drama tells true-to-life stories about the medical workers’ hard work, sacrifice, perseverance and emotional bonds with patients.
Starring veteran actors Fu Chong and Sun Yucai, the drama also features an excerpt of a recitation by doctors from Shanghai Zhongshan Hospital.
According to scriptwriter Yu Xiating, the drama aims to encourage people never to give up hope in the face of difficulties.
