Shanghai Science and Technology Museum has signed a cooperation with other local science institutions to promote science education.

The museum will join hands with Shanghai Academy of Science and Technology to develop science education-related games aimed at children.

“Some parents don’t like their children to play games. But children like games. Games accompany us as we grow up,” said Yan Guoqiang, deputy director of the academy.

“In the future, maybe the museum itself will become a giant playground,” said Liu Haifeng, deputy director of the museum.

Together with the Shanghai Branch of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, they will strengthen exhibition and talent exchanges, and foster budding minds through lectures with scientists and innovation classes.

Shanghai Media Group will cooperate with the museum on a talk show covering science, technology, culture, art and social topics.
