No new COVID-19 cases reported in Shanghai

There were no new local or imported coronavirus cases reported on Tuesday, while one imported patient from the US was discharged from hospital upon recovery, said the Shanghai Health Commission on Wednesday morning.

So far, of all the 326 imported cases, 310 have been discharged upon recovery and 16 are still hospitalized, including one in critical condition.

Another six imported suspected cases are undergoing test.

No new locally transmitted or suspected cases were reported on Tuesday, either.

Of all the 340 local cases, 332 have been discharged upon recovery and one is hospitalized for treatment. There have been so far seven local fatalities.

No asymptomatic infection cases are undergoing medical observation now, the health commission said.
