The Pujiang Countryside Park has prepared a tent bazaar for Children's Day. 

Tourist attractions and parks in Shanghai are staging activities to celebrate the upcoming Children's Day, the Shanghai Administration of Culture and Tourism announced on Friday. 

The Chenshan Botanical Garden in Songjiang District will host a grass music festival with symphony concerts over the weekend. Fun games related to plants will be held as well. 

Parent-child science popularization experience areas will be set up in the garden on Sunday and Monday, testing children's knowledge of plants and educating people on different plant species. 

Horticulture classes will be organized on Saturday and a bird observation event will be held at the garden on Sunday. 

Visitors to the garden with children will receive free plush toys as gifts on Monday.

Bubble show at Shanghai Happy Valley

A tent bazaar is hosted at the Pujiang Countryside Park in Minhang District where people can exchange toys, and a children's drama focusing on forest protection will be held at the park on Sunday. 

The Shanghai Zoo in Changning District will host a swimming competition for penguins over the weekend and the gifts for winners are fish. 

Webcasts of parrots, orangutans, otters, kangaroos and meerkats will be held by the zoo over the weekend. 

Shanghai Happy Valley in Songjiang is staging a bubble carnival and the amusement park has created an area with the theme of childhood where longtang (back alleyway) delicacies and toys take the stage.

Flower sea at Chenshan Botanical Garden

The Haichang Ocean Park in the Pudong New Area will present a drama taking audience to explore China's South Pole on Sunday and Monday. 

The Shanghai Museum of Glass in Baoshan District will host an outdoor market over the weekend, inviting visitors to join DIY activities and enjoy music at night.
