A total of 140 examples on “healthy Shanghai” projects will be released as a book at the Shanghai Book Fair in August to boost the aim of building Shanghai into a model city of medical and scientific innovation and high health capability by 2030.

All of the examples, which involve aspects like healthy lifestyle, health service improvement, environmental renovation, health industry upgrades and health policy renovation, reflect Shanghai’s devotion to and achievements in health service.

A community-based colorectal cancer screening program, adolescent eye health check and database program and some 1,300 routes allowing residents to do jogging and walking for exercises have received great responses, said the health authority.
