Acting mayor holds video conference with Inditex chief
Shanghai’s acting mayor Gong Zheng had a video conference with Inditex Executive Chairman Pablo Isla yesterday.
“We are grateful for the contributions of Inditex to the economic development of Shanghai and your support in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic in China. And we hope that Inditex can share the opportunities of the online new economy and welcome the group to join the 3rd China International Import Expo,” Gong said.

Isla replied that Inditex is fully confident of Shanghai’s development and will actively participate in the upcoming import expo, and at the same time provide better experience for consumers with the concept of sustainable development.

Inditex, with its headquarters in Spain, is one of the largest global retailers of fashion brands, including Zara, and its Asia Pacific headquarters are in Shanghai.
