An international innovation and entrepreneurship competition on “precision medicine” kicked off in Nanxiang Town in Shanghai on Thursday.
“Precision medicine” refers to an approach to disease treatment and prevention that aims to offer targeted solutions for different individuals or groups of people.
Nanxiang in Jiading District is home to an industry park gathering companies working on precision medicine which was opened in November 2018.
The competition will also be held in Ningbo, Beijing and Xi’an in China and Singapore.
