The three-day Dragon Boat Festival holiday from Thursday and Saturday is likely to have a wet start with thundershowers, while the remaining two days will be mostly dry and cloudy.

There should be no weather worries for middle school students sitting their high school entrance exam this weekend, with just a few scattered afternoon showers.

Temperatures over the festival period will range from 23 to 28 degrees Celsius.

Earlier, rain overnight on Tuesday will weaken with showers at times during Wednesday before heavier falls at night.

Temperatures will range from 24 to 29 degrees Celsius on Wednesday with humidity at 70 to 95 percent.

The plum rain belt will move south and weaken on Friday and Saturday.

Next week, the city will see more afternoon showers.
