Two new imported novel coronavirus cases were reported in the city on Tuesday, said the Shanghai Health Commission on Wednesday morning.

The newly diagnosed patients include one Chinese studying in the UK and one Indian.

The patients have been transferred to the designated hospital for treatment, while all the 61 close contacts on the same plane with them have been tracked down and put under quarantine and observation.

So far, of all the 362 imported cases, 335 have been discharged upon recovery and 27 are still hospitalized.

No imported suspected cases are undergoing test.

No new locally transmitted or suspected cases were reported on Tuesday.

Of all the 341 local cases, 334 have been discharged upon recovery. There have been so far seven local fatalities.

No asymptomatic infection cases are undergoing medical observation now, the health commission said.
