Dancers dressed in hanfu clothing perform near the Zigzag Bridge at the Yuyuan Garden Malls.
An event launched at Yuyuan Garden Malls on Friday took visitors back to the prosperous temple fairs of some 400 years ago.
Traditional lantern shows, art performances, food bazaars and various events such as night jogging will be held across the malls until the end of the year. In July and August, most events will be held between 2pm and 10pm on weekdays and 10am to 10pm on weekends.
The activities are part of the city government's efforts to bring customers back after the coronavirus outbreak with various shopping and entertaining events.
