3 new coronavirus cases reported in Shanghai
Three new imported COVID-19 cases were reported in the city on Tuesday, said the Shanghai Health Commission on Wednesday morning.
The newly diagnosed patients are all Chinese, one working in Mexico, one working in Singapore and one living in the US.
The patients have been transferred to the designated hospital for treatment, while all the 148 close contacts on the planes have been put under quarantine and observation at designated place.
So far, of all the 389 imported cases, 356 have been discharged upon recovery and 33 are still hospitalized.
One imported suspected case is undergoing test.
No new locally transmitted or suspected cases were reported on Tuesday.
Of all the 342 local cases, 334 have been discharged upon recovery and one is hospitalized for treatment. There have been so far seven local fatalities.
No asymptomatic infection cases are undergoing medical observation now, the health commission said.
