Public satisfaction with urban management and law enforcement in the city rose to 83.53 points in the first half of the year, 0.31 points higher than the second half of 2019, authorities announced on Wednesday. 

The city's urban management and law enforcement was rated "good" based on 53,000 responses to a questionnaire. 

Hongkou, Xuhui, and Jing’an districts scored highest among downtown districts in terms of urban management and law enforcement work, the results showed.

Songjiang, Jiading and Minhang districts had the highest scores among suburban districts. 

Respondents were most satisfied with urban management and law enforcement at tourist attractions, while office buildings and wet markets had the lowest scores, the results revealed.
