Visitors to the Shanghai Disney Resort will no longer need to make reservations in advance.

The Ministry of Culture and Tourism has adjusted the operating capacity of tourist sites from 30 percent to 50 percent of permitted capacity, and overall market conditions are steadily rebounding. As a result, the resort is increasing the daily capacity of the Shanghai Disneyland theme park.

From next Monday, Shanghai Disneyland Annual Pass holders and General Admission Ticket holders will be able to visit the park on any eligible day based on the terms of their pass or ticket.

Resort guests will not be required to obtain a visitation spot in advance. Instead, they can arrive and enter the park at any time during its announced hours of operation.

However, before their arrival at the park’s main entrance, they should submit their visitation date and personal information to obtain a Shanghai Disneyland reservation QR code.

Other guests are still required to purchase dated admission tickets in advance, prior or on the same day of their visitation date, subject to ticket availability.

If a date is forecast to be a “high attendance day” based on government guidelines on maximum capacity, and should require such action, Shanghai Disneyland reserves the right to suspend the sale of all ticket products and block all Annual Passes on that date. Information will be published in a timely manner.
