No COVID-19 cases reported in Shanghai for Saturday

There were no new coronavirus cases reported in Shanghai on Saturday, said the Shanghai Health Commission on Sunday morning.

Three imported patients, two from the United Arab Emirates and one from the Philippines, were discharged from hospital upon recovery.

So far, of all the 533 imported cases, 451 have been discharged upon recovery and 82 are still hospitalized.

One imported suspected case is undergoing test.

No new locally transmitted or suspected cases were reported on Saturday.

Of all the 342 local cases, 335 have been discharged upon recovery. There have been so far seven local fatalities.

No asymptomatic infection cases are undergoing medical observation now, the health commission said.
