Shanghai, Qingdao seal deals during service industry forum
The city of Qingdao signs 10 projects in Shanghai.
Ten projects were signed on Friday in Shanghai during the Shanghai-Qingdao service industry development cooperation forum.
The projects include the Qingdao green-city development fund project, the Qingdao international shipping trade and financial innovation base project, the Qingdao science and technology innovation fund project, and a precision medical industry demonstration park project, to name some, according to the Shibei District government of Qingdao City, Shandong Province.
The Qingdao green-city development fund will invest in fields such as new infrastructure, green city development, big data and artificial intelligence.
The forum gathered about 100 associations and enterprises in the modern service industry.
The Shibei District in Qingdao has stepped up cooperation with Shanghai focusing on modern service industries such as new shipping, new trade, new finance, and science and technology to accelerate development of the district's international shipping, trade and financial innovation center.
“The Shibei District will create the best business environment and professional market atmosphere for investors and we welcome cooperation from Shanghai," said Zhang Xinzhu, Party secretary of the district.
