No new COVID-19 cases reported in Shanghai

There were no new novel coronavirus cases reported in Shanghai on Monday, while three patients were discharged from hospital upon recovery, said the Shanghai Health in Commission on Tuesday morning.

So far, of all the 580 imported cases, 537 have been discharged upon recovery and 43 are still hospitalized.

One imported suspected case is undergoing test.

No new locally transmitted or suspected cases were reported on Monday, according to the commission.

Of all the 342 local cases, 335 have been discharged upon recovery. There have been so far seven local fatalities.

No asymptomatic infection cases are undergoing medical observation now, the health commission said.
