Li Zezhong, mayor and vice Party secretary of Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province, is under investigation for "serious violations of discipline," the local disciplinary watchdog said today.
The statement by the Guangdong Commission for Discipline Inspection didn't specify what the violations are.
Li, 47-year-old, was the deputy mayor of Zhuhai and vice Party secretary from March to May 2017 and became the mayor from May 2017.
