President Xi Jinping on Monday visited Yingxiu Town of Wenchuan County, the epicenter of the magnitude-8.0 earthquake that hit southwest China's Sichuan Province on May 12, 2008.
Xi, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, visited the ruins of a middle school, where he laid flowers in memory of more than 80,000 people killed in the earthquake and heroes who died during rescue work.
