Fourteen children were injured after a woman went on a stabbing rampage in front of a kindergarten in southwest China's Chongqing Friday morning, local police said.

Fourteen children were injured after a woman went on a stabbing rampage in front of a kindergarten in southwest China's Chongqing on Friday morning, local police said.
The suspect, a 39-year-old woman surnamed Liu, is alleged to have used a kitchen knife to attack children in front of the kindergarten in Banan District around 9:30am, local police confirmed on their Weibo account.
Security guards and kindergarten staffers got control of Liu before police arrived.
The injured children are being treated as further investigation continues.
