Primary school headmaster detained for alleged student abuse
A primary school headmaster has been detained for alleged child sexual abuse, The Beijing News reported Tuesday.
The headmaster of Shuikou Primary School in Jinzhong County, northeast China’s Liaoning Province, is suspected of raping one student and sexually assaulting four others, Xu, director of the local education bureau, told the paper.
Xu said police received a report on June 1 and the headmaster, Wang, was taken in for questioning. Wang has removed from his post. The victims returned to school on June 3.
The investigation is ongoing.
