'Kiangnan 1894' releases theme song at CCG Expo

Homegrown animated feature film “Kiangnan 1894” released its theme song at the ongoing China International Cartoon and Game Expo in Shanghai. 

The film is slated for national release on September 27.

The song is created by Chinese pop girl band BEJ48 particularly for the movie.

Set in the late Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), the film revolves around the growth of a boy and his unusual experiences at the Kiangnan Arsenal as a military mechanic.

In the eyes of Wu Xiaogang, director of the film, the story is about youth, dreams and patriotism. It also portrays Chinese people’s never-yielding spirit.
