China to further ensure stable employment

China will continue to support flexible employment, improve the disabled persons' employment security fund system and use legal means to tackle wage defaults in a move to further ensure stable employment.

China's employment situation has maintained overall stability this year with the newly-added urban jobs meeting the annual target ahead of schedule, according to a statement released after a State Council executive meeting chaired by Premier Li Keqiang on Wednesday.

The meeting urged more efforts to implement an employment-first policy and further improve measures to boost employment.
