The Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress of central China's Hubei Province, the epidemic center of the novel coronavirus outbreak, on Tuesday decided to appoint Wang Hesheng as the new director of the provincial health commission.
Wang will replace Liu Yingzi, the former head of the provincial health commission, according to a decision adopted by the committee at a video meeting held Tuesday afternoon.
