A 5.4-magnitude earthquake jolted Hualien County in eastern Taiwan at 7pm Saturday, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was monitored at 23.95 degrees north latitude and 121.49 degrees east longitude, said the CENC.
