Dozens injured in primary school knife attack

Thirty-nine people, most of them children, were injured in a knife attack at a primary school in southwest China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on Thursday, People’s Daily reported.

Thirty-seven students suffered minor injuries while two adults were seriously wounded, though none of them had life-threatening injuries, the report said.

A man allegedly started a stabbing spree at Wangfu Township Central Primary School in Cangwu County at around 8:30am.

The suspect was caught by police and further investigation is going on.
