Zhuhai, a city in southern China's Guangdong Province, has suspended a policy which waived mandatory quarantine for inbound travelers who already underwent a 14-day medical observation in Hong Kong, the provincial government announced on its official WeChat account.

Under the new policy, Zhuhai requires inbound travelers from Hong Kong to undergo another 14-day quarantine on the Chinese mainland, even if they have finished a 14-day quarantine in Hong Kong.

Shenzhen adopted the same policy earlier, requiring inbound travelers from Hong Kong to undergo another 14-day quarantine on the Chinese mainland, even if they finished quarantine in Hong Kong.
