A 5.5-magnitude earthquake jolted the city of Lijiang in southwest China's Yunnan Province at 3:02 pm on Sunday (Beijing Time), according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).

The epicenter was monitored at 27.79 degrees north latitude and 100.65 degrees east longitude. The earthquake struck at a depth of 10 km, the center said.
