95 wounded in Kabul massive explosion
At least 95 people were wounded after a massive car bomb explosion ripped through a busy neighborhood at the western side of Afghanistan's capital Kabul on Wednesday, an official said.
"As a result of an explosion in Police District 6, Kabul City, 95 wounded, including women and children, have been evacuated to our hospitals by Kabul Ambulance," Dr. Wahidullah Mayar, spokesman of Ministry of Public Health, wrote on twitter.
The blast occurred roughly at 9:00am local time after a terrorist rammed the explosive-packed vehicle into the front gate of district police station.
The Taliban militant group has claimed responsibility for the explosion.
A thick black smoke was seen rising above the site. The explosion also caused massive destruction.
