Vertical Run held in Shanghai

The 2017 SHKP Vertical Run was held on Sunday morning, featuring 1,700 runners from home and broad, who climbed 1,460 steps to reach the finish line set on the 57th floor of the International Financial Center in Pudong New Area.

Australian Mark Bourne topped the men’s elite group clocking 7 minutes and 44 seconds. The women’s elite group title went to Suzy Walsham, also from Australia, with a time of 9 minutes and 8 seconds.

Staff from more than 40 enterprises and organizations took part in the team/enterprise relay races.

Coming into its sixth year, the charity run donates all the registration fee amount to the Shanghai Children’s Health Foundation to provide medical care for young patients who need help.
