The Skoda Heros China Cycling Series held its second race – International MTB Huangshan – over the weekend, featuring 1,412 cyclists from home and abroad.

The Skoda Heros China Cycling Series held its second race — International MTB Huangshan — in Yixian County, Anhui Province, over the weekend.

The two-day competition gathered 1,412 cyclists, including 65 foreign participants from 18 countries such as the US, Britain, Italy, France, Japan, Germany, Spain, Netherlands, Russia, Japan, and South Korea. The event set a total of 13 categories of competitions to involve both professional and amateur cyclists, as well as children.

The Huangshan leg has always been known for the beautiful landscape along the race route, which covered major tourism spots and villages in the Yellow Mountain area. Feng Kuanjie from the Cronus Tropix team won the men’s 40-kilometer race clocking 1:37:07. The women’s 40K race title went to He Chong (2:01:26) representing the Hainan Qiongzhong team. This year’s Skoda Heros series has eight legs with four of them scheduled in Shanghai. The third leg will be held at Shanghai’s Dishui Lake on April 21.
