Kids gather for push-bike showdown

Skoda Heros National Push-Bike Race gathered over 300 young competitors in Shanghai from around the country on Saturday.

Jointly organized by Shanghai Sports Bureau and Shanghai Sports Federation, it was the first cycling event of the 2018 Shanghai Amateur League for children.

The participants, aged between two and six, were divided into five age groups to ride and overcome obstacles at Jiading Gymnasium. Interactive games were also arranged at the venue for children and their parents.

Oriented from Europe, push-bike is a cycling discipline which can be easily picked up by children to get their balance and coordinating ability trained.
