The Chinese U-19 national team beat Uruguay 3-1 to claim the title of 2018 Panda Cup, an international youth football tournament featuring four teams on Sunday.

China got a dream start through a corner kick from Zhu Chenjie. Neris Gigueredo created a penalty and Schiappacasse Oliva converted it to level the score 1-1 for Uruguay.

In the second half, Uruguay created a couple of scoring chances but failed to deliver any of them.

China instead enlarged their advantage to 3-1 through goals from Liu Ruofan and Xu Haoyang in the 80th and 87th minutes respectively.
