The 2018 Shanghai Amateur League “M Fitness Cup” Swimming League will hold 38 competitions this year.
The 2018 Shanghai Amateur League “M Fitness Cup” Swimming League held its opening ceremony at the Shanghai Oriental Sports Center yesterday.
Swimmers aged from 10 to over 50 competed in different groups at the center’s outdoor swimming pool, the same venue that hosted the FINA World Championships in 2011.
Swimming is a newcomer to the Shanghai Amateur League. Jointly organized by the Shanghai Sports Bureau, the Shanghai Sports Federation and the Shanghai Meizaichen Sports Management Company, the league has planned 38 competitions this year, which will attract some 30,000 competitors from around the city.
