Morientes will show up at the first leg of the training camp as a star coach.
The 2018 Real Madrid Foundation Campus Experience held its kickoff ceremony at Minhang District’s Living World Shanghai Bilingual School yesterday, with former Real striker Fernando Morientes in attendance.
Coming into its third year, the training camp will see coaches and instructors sent by the Real Madrid Foundation provide guidance to young Chinese footballers aged between 5 and 17. Five legs of five-day training will be set for children of different age groups.
Morientes will be at the first leg (July 9-13 which is open to children between 9 and 10 years old) as a star coach. The summer camp is expected to attract some 150 children. Among them are 28 young talents recommended by the Minhang District government.
