Karting Scholarship Series held fourth race

The 2018 Grand Prix Karting Scholarship Series held its fourth race at Wenzhou Dreamworks Motor Racing Center. The fifth and final race will be held in Shanghai next month.

GPKS aims at providing a fair and standard competition platform for kart drivers aged between 7 and 15.

The 2018 Grand Prix Karting Scholarship Series held its fourth race at Wenzhou Dreamworks Motor Racing Center in neighboring Zhejiang Province yesterday.

The event saw 11 youngsters from around the country race in heat around the 0.8-kilometer track. Zhengzhou native Dong Zi’ao won both the 10-lap Cadet Final 1 and 14-lap Cadet Final 2. Philippines young female driver Bianca won both the 15-lap Junior Final 1 and 20-lap Junior Final 2.

Coming into its second year, the series aims at providing a fair and standard competition platform for kart drivers aged between 7 and 15, who are provided with same-brand karts, technicians and backup support.

The final stop of this year’s series will be held in Shanghai in the middle of next month.
