World Wushu Championships launch emblem and mascot design comp

All entries will be voted on by the public in an online selection process. The results will be released late October.

The 15th World Wushu Championships, to be held in Shanghai in October of next year, has launched a global emblem and mascot design competition.

According to Sun Zongqing, jury president for the selection process, they hope to find ingenious designs that combine the elements of traditional Chinese martial arts culture with the spirit of Shanghai.

All entries will be voted on by the public in an online selection process, the results of which will be released late October.

Ambassadors and a theme song for the championships will also be selected in the following months.

People who are interested in making a submission can send their emblem and mascot designs to wwc2019@vip.163.com by the end of September.
