A photo exhibition of Shanghai’s international sports events is being staged at Shanghai Jiushi Art Museum, and is open to all for free.

The pictures were all taken during major sports events, including the ATP Rolex Shanghai Masters, Formula One Chinese Grand Prix and  IAAF Diamond League.

The ATP World Tour came to Shanghai in 1997 and the inaugural F1 Chinese Grand Prix was held at Shanghai International Circuit in 2004.

Most of the events featured in the exhibition were promoted by Juss Event, affiliated to the state-owned Shanghai Jiushi Group.

An album entitled “Shanghai Juss Sports Events” was launched as the exhibit opened.

It is the first time Shanghai Jiushi Art Museum, on Nanjing Road E in Huangpu District, has been open to the public. The exhibition will last till October 7.
