IOC announced on Monday that China's Hengyuanxiang Group will supply IOC members and administrators with official uniforms for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games and the 2022 Beijing Olympic Winter Games.

IOC president Thomas Bach and HYX president Liu Ruiqi jointly made the announcement at a meeting in Beijing.

"We are pleased to be working with HYX and look forward to wearing our formal uniforms with pride in Tokyo next year and in Beijing in 2022. I would especially like to thank IOC vice president Zaiqing Yu for his work in bringing this agreement to life," Bach said.

Founded in 1927 in Shanghai, Hengyuanxiang Group is one of China's best-known textile companies. The group has a history of supporting sport in China, including as a sponsor of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and as a partner and sponsor of the Chinese Olympic Committee from 2009 to 2016.

"To have the opportunity to provide the formal uniforms to the IOC is a great honour for HYX, and we hope such cooperation will continue for as long as possible," Liu said.
