Ski/snowboard simulator race kicks off in Shanghai
The Sina Cup Ski/Snowboard Simulator Race, organized by Sina Sports and SNOW51, kicked off on Sunday in Shanghai.
Nearly 100 candidates from different parts in China took part in the race that had sections for adults and children.
As one of the world's top one-stop urban ski spaces, SNOW51 plans to promote skiing activities in different cities in China, echoing the fever for winter sports ahead of the Beijing Winter Olympic Games in 2022.
This year's Sina Cup aims to attract nearly 20,000 skiing and snowboard enthusiasts in 25 cities in China.
