Chinese Super League to kick off on February 22
The 2020 Chinese Super League will kick off on February 22 and end on October 31, the Chinese Football Association announced on Tuesday.
Publishing the schedules of its leagues for the upcoming season, the CFA stated that the highest priority has been given to FIFA World Cup qualifiers and the AFC Champions League.
The CFA has set aside a break of ten days leading up to March 26 when the national team will play the Maldives in a World Cup qualifier.

In the World Cup Asian qualifiers, China now sit second in the five-team Group A with seven points from four games, eight points behind group leaders Syria.
The top teams and the four best second-place finishers from each of the eight qualifying groups will advance to the final stage of the qualifiers.
